What is the Grandview and District Community Resource Council?

The Grandview and District Community Resource Council is a community based program designed to help seniors and disabled persons in the community to live happier, healthier lives, maintain their independence and remain in their own homes as long as possible. It is also an information source that responds to questions about services, activities, programs, etc.

What is Services to Seniors?

Services to Seniors offers numerous programs and activities provided through the combined efforts of dedicated volunteers, fee-for-service workers and the Resource Council staff.

How is it funded?

The Parkland Regional Health Authority provides funds to hire a coordinator for the Resource Council. Other expenses must be raised, therefore fundraising events are held throughout the year.

How is it run?

The programs provided by the Resource Council run on volunteer power! All volunteers and fee-for-service workers are reference checked and all services are provided with confidentiality keeping the individuals needs in mind. We thank our volunteers for the gift of their time and value their commitment to others. If you wish to share your time and skills, please contact us.
